Serene and Calm

I spent an afternoon in The Cockleshell Gallery with my exhibition yesterday. I was surprised by the serenity and calmness of the blues and greens. So different from my usual sunburst of vibrant colour! I hadn't realised the effect until I was in the space on my own with my work hung all around me. It was a different experience to being in the studio working intently on each individual piece with the work building up around me in the clutter of the studio!
