PRECIOUS  BOWLS

Contemporary Irish design inspired by an ancient Japanese concept.  Kintsugi: the repair of broken porcelain using pure gold.  Wabi sabi: seeing beauty in imperfection.   Intrigued by these ideas I have created a vibrant collection of chawan (teabowls).  Teeming with symbolism around hope and reassurance these 'broken' bowls have such resonance for so many of us today.
